today i started to have issues with cam 2 cam.
i use chrome, but i did also tried it with firefox and i get the same result.
when i test the cam everything is fine but when i start the cam then i get the following message and i cant load the cam
the message is the following : wsConnection.onerror: (is Trusted:true)

I've had cam2cam issues as well. Internet Explorer has issues with the cam test. With your list of failing browsers listed above, what exactly is a recommended browser for use with cam2cam now?

I've had problems as well. What browser does F4F recommend that does not have this issue?

My cam2cam experience continues having issues. While using this feature I will repeatedly receive the message, "You're cam2cam session got disconnected. Please try reconnecting." This never happened before when using IE. However, in other browsers such as Firefox I haven't had a good cam2cam experience. I have followed the directions on the cam2cam test page for these other browsers and per my computer's settings everything is as directed. Is anyone else experiencing this and Tech Support do you know a solution? Thank you.

I have similar issues and have not received any meaningful help or advice from F4F yet.

Ashlee, I posted December 30, yes there is still a problem. I have given the site access the cam, I even tried a second cam; the whole allowing pop-ups per the site's directions. Yet using Firefox I continually receive the error message I quoted above in post #6.

on a lark I checked Chrome and updated to Version 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (x86_64). It is now working.

Well, when I use cam2cam, it fucks up my audio... Cam2cam here is the only thing that automatically increases my microphone volume. I dont know why and I dont know any settings to stop Cam2cam from doing that. All other applications I use my microphone with (Zoom, Discord, Teamspeak...) dont do that. Is it possible that this is one of the issues you have as well?

Volume isn't something we control. However, it seems like audio adjusting by itself is tied to Windows 10. Suggestions for possible fixes can be found at the windowsreport url under /sound-increases-automatically-windows-10/
