Technical Support: Somebody had my username.
Has this happened to anybody else. First incident happened one night when I was talking to a model in open chat, out of no where a person insulted the model while using my username. The model thought I typed it but it wasn't me. Second time was recently, I wasn't online for quite sometime like a week or so and tonight I decided to talk to one of my favorite models. Then she told me I called her "a money hungry b****". I would never call any model that and wonder it happened again. Anybody had similar incidents?

Unfortunately it is possible to copy names that include a lower case L or an upper case i ... these characters look identical on the screen... if you want to keep your name, i would suggest adding the "clone" name to your screen name list if you can.

Nobody can use your actual user name, they can only use a name which looks like it, for example :
This is your name typed with a lower case L as the second character : Eli2120
And this is your name typed with an upper case I as the second character : EIi2120 Quote

Same happened to me some time ago, and same circumstances. Another Customer posing as me with similar looking name. In this case I found out later he use 3 lower case L instead of 2. Fortunately the model concerned was also friend and knew something was wrong, but I can imagine very embarrasing for you.

Oh shucks saw this happen today in a top model's room, her popular VIP member got cloned thanks to the similarity of uppercase I and lowercase L. As suggested above, add the clone name to your screen names.

I have also heard of someone figuring out a hack to copy screen names - this actually happened in a top female model's room last week - where a regular customer was in the room, went to another window on his computer, then heard the model yelling at him out loud - when he popped back to the chat room she was pissed - because apparently someone had used his name and whispered some not so nice words to her...

It just happened to me. they put in a capital K. even i had to look to see what happened. This sucks

Take screen shot and email Customer Service . Slight chance to catch the person .
Call Customer Support - they can see ALL user names in the room - They can delete the copycat name's account .
It took a few phone calls - but Customer Service nailed them in the room and deleted their account . [ The person simply added a period after a name tipped in the room ]

It's happened to me before. Some people like to think it's funny to do that, they don't have anything else to do, and are being smart for trying to copy people's usernames, when it's forbidden to do so. Customer service should help, with something like that.
