Technical Support: Using Gift Cards
Hi. When I joined the site I asked if it was OK to use Visa gift cards to buy credits and was told it was OK. It's the only way I buy credits. Is it still OK to use gift cards to buy credits?

Of course you can still use gift cards. They have to be Visa/Mastercard. We recommend the Vanilla giftcards.

I have used the "vanilla" branded MC / Visa's several times in the last 2 months - no issues... However, recently one of the local retailers that I buy them from pulled all of the $50.00 denomination ones off the shelve - just as I was getting ready to buy one - I asked what the issue was - and the clerk just said they got a bulletin to pull them and not sell them - but the "birthday" themed ones were fine...

I was given a VISA vanilla credit card and couldn't figure out how to make it work here. There is a statement in FAQ of the gift card section that it won't be accepted as a gift card, and it doesn't seem to go into the regular credit card entry either. Do they still work? If so, what's the trick?

Reposting--How do I use these? They don't work when I try to enter one in like a regular credit card. Even the vanilla credit cards now require a pin.
