I noticed the increase of badges members can earn but why are they separated by usernames when the teward points and achievement missions are by account?
Many badges are earned from the missions, once completed you cannot complete again under a different username.

They can control what badges can be seen under their screen name profile. Badges earned on the account level do not show on all screen names for them to hide or show.
