Because that would be too obvious. They have to keep the allure that you can be censored at any time and for any reason without any explanation. I have long been against the banned words system. If there was a political group on Flirt, my platform would be "Ban Banned Words."

I have never received the "stuck in the chute" message for an email with inappropriate words. Instead I receive a message in the red band at the top of the screen saying your email contains inappropriate words. However, I cannot recall if the email points out the word in question the way it does in the forums. That means I have to go hunting for the bad word buried within another word, for instance gr@pe contains a banned word. I have received the "chute" message before but it was due to tech issues.
