Technical Support: vods not available
i have been in dylan chambers an tanner room duo i go to there vod section an they are not available, not talking about ones i do. it says because of there rating they are restricted, i check with the models an they ask there boss to make them available. he saids they are available, but i still get the same messge i sent e mail to support no response an i talk to a rep an she sais they need to talk to there boss, an they did please help.

i was asking the tecnical staff to help me in this matter but i guess there not intrested i will just keep the credits instead of buying there vods

robojeff - I'm not too surprised that the VS technical staff or any of the helpful members here didn't reply to your question. There is little to add to the information which you have already seen:
Dylan Chambers & Tanner Shane is currently ranked as one of our sites best performers. Accordingly our system limits access to recorded shows from the best performers (unless they choose otherwise) as long as they maintain their top ranking. Only the original customer who created the recording can watch this video at this time.

It is of course a ludicrous policy. If the idea behind it is to get more viewers to pay to see the models only when they're "live," then whoever decided it has clearly forgotten that this is a 24-hour site. Consequently, the model will only be seen when he's actually on-line and only by viewers who just happen to be in roughly the same time zone. On the other hand, if the models' VODs were available to anyone 24 hours a day, then at least they'd be getting some income, nothwithstanding the far too high charges recently levied on some of the VODs I've checked.
As it happens, I've raised these VOD restrictions with one or two models myself and it was clear they were unaware of them. Only last week I told one guy it was a pity I couldn't see his VODs when he was off-line and he typed: "I didn't know that. I'll try and fix it."
Maybe there are some models (and certain studios) that don't want their VODs to be seen. However, if a "default" mechanism is in place that causes these restrictions automatically, and the models are unaware of them, then it needs to be un-defaulted straight away. Then we can get back to the situation we used to be in before these nonsensical restrictions were ever devised in the first place

I'm sure there is a marketing angle to all this but in some cases it is the models' preferences. If a model wants to block their shows they should be the one to initiate it. I agree the default setting for models in the top percent should be removed. Some of them are new to the site, receiving alot of room traffic and this status and they simply do not know about this setting and their shows.

Well, in my case I'm in the UK, so that's 5 hours ahead of EST. It just means, for example, that if a hot model in NYC decided to log into F4F at 10 pm his time, it's 3 am in the morning for me, so I'm gonna be fast asleep! However, as you say, the models schedules vary widely world-wide, so there are always plenty of guys on-line. Even so, I've come across several USA models whose VODs I'd like to see when they're not on-line but if it's their choice to restrict them then I'll just have to go without. On the other hand, the fact that one or two have told me in chat that they were quite unaware of the VODs restriction is why I made my comments above

just for the record dylan an tanner are no longer with flirt but we still cant see there vods, an they nerver req that be restricted

If they are not available to you, robojeff, it may be that they have blocked your location. If that is the case then you have been particularly unlucky:
1. the duo were so successful that they made it into the top 3% of models
2. because they were in the top 3% their VODs were blocked unless they changed the setting
3. they didn't change the setting (for whatever reason)
4. they are no longer in the top 3% and most people can now view their VODs
5. they have blocked your location.
