For example, I just saw an offer for 2,875 points for $249. If I figure 10 points/$1 as the base, I would get 2490, so that is a bonus of 385, or about 15.5%. If I get 22% ABOVE the 2875, that comes to 3,507, which is great. But if it is giving me only the HIGHER of 22% (which, based on 2490, would come to 3,037), so I'd just get the 3,507 I would have had WITHOUT using the flirt rewards ... which makes no sense. (Yes, I am an accountant ... sorry if I gave any math-adverse readers a headache, but this is a dilemma for me. ) Quote

When it comes to redeeming Flirt Points for a percentage bonus in a Deal Coupon, the percentage is added on for the BASE component of the deal. When it comes to a Flirt Points redemption, the 28% Bonus would be applied at the base of, let's say, 500 Credits. Meaning that you would be getting the 500 Credits plus an additional 140 Bonus Credits.

OK, but my question remains (using your numbers) ... Let's say I originally had a deal for 500 + 75 bonus points = 575. Your numbers above, I'd get $640 total, so I really am only getting 65 more credits (that's only a 7% bonus, really) from what I would otherwise get. Not worth it to cash in the Flirt rewards for so little, IMO. I'm glad I asked. Quote

Indeed - I got now a headache, but not from the math. It's more from your random apposition of words

To help with your math, you only receive 9 credits per $1as the base.
