Bisport - I have provided an explanation and apology in the General Discussions forum:

As you are not a VIP member, and won't see that, I am happy to apologise directly to you here. You have always been very encouraging in the past, and I appreciate that. Quote

ha!
Amanda
I have kept the on-topic part of your last post (above).
Upgrading my setup seems a bit extreme, when Group Chat (and pretty well everything else on the site) was working perfectly just over 2 weeks ago.
I also have some big computer programs which don't work with Windows 7 (64 bit). It suits me to stay with Windows XP for as long as I can.
We can always discuss more general points in the General Discussions forum
*sigh* Ronnie dear,
Pong was THE electronic wonder of the moment AGES ago ... try running Call To Duty on the hardware that existed then ... as Bart has pointed out the WORLD MOVES ON and the pace at which that occurs in the technological field is measured in pico-cycles not YEARS; in fact it took Microsoft only ONE year to release a newer version of Windoze. ("Windows XP was released worldwide for retail sale on October 25, 2001, and over 400 million copies were in use in January 2006. ... On April 10, 2012, Microsoft reaffirmed that extended support for Windows XP and Office 2003 would end on April 8, 2014" Wikipedia)
As Bart also pointed out the cost of a new powerful, face-mishapingly fast micro-computer is less than 3000 foking credits. *shrug* The point is obvious and is being echoed now by several others in this your 'Thread of Dominance'. Nabil? Well my sweet tender lumpling ... Nabil is in the IT support biz ... the foker will SELL you a complete system with glee. wtf. Hell, he's sorta 'English' himself so perhaps you and he can form some sort of New Committee for New Technological Humpty Dumpty or somefin eh?
I'll also point this out to you my churlish little one ... while i ALWAYS (almost) edit others thread-quotes to shape them for my delight (or foking just condense them to the points i enjoy poking sticks into) i have NEVER hit the abuse button on the source post. This only serves to illustrate my consistent critique of you as a blarney loaded sniveling power-lusting ferret shuffling mollywogger! HA! (just HAD to go there ... *sigh*@me) (all.gangsta)(sniff)(giggle) *searches for the open all night can of beer i swear i left here on the table for breakfast*
Meanwhile in an urban landscape being groomed for the End Daze ...
