1. Some users are unable to get video in the open room.
2. Some users are unable to get VOD to load.
3? Some users don't have access to their recorded shows.
In the case of 1, for all users that are having a problem getting video to load in the open room, would you mind telling me which browser you are using AND what your browser's privacy/security settings are currently set at.
We've been finding that some browsers are more strict with security than others and in the case of most browsers, having the highest security settings can cause problems.
On that note, if you check your browser's security settings and you happen to be using the highest settings, try lowering it by one level and see if that fixes your problem.
In regards of problems #2 and #3, I believe that these may be related and may even be the same issue. Some users are reporting that they can't view VOD's getting an error and others are saying that they can't see their recorded shows.
For those that can't see your recorded shows, are you at least able to see the thumbnail and record of those shows but they don't play OR are you literally seeing no record for that show in your account, like it doesn't exist?
If you do see the thumbnail and page to play your recorded show but can't get it to play, then #2 and #3 may be the same problem.
We do take these issues very seriously but there was a bit of confusion sorting through these initial reports. Any elaboration on your problems would be very helpful in tracking these issues down.

Hello Nabil,
Thank you for your return.
So I use the same laptop for a long time, a Dell Latitude E5410 with Windows 7 32-bit
The problem is the same as it is with Firefox (version 26.0) or Internet Explorer (version 10.0)
Adobe flash player is 14 (ActiveX and Plugin)
The Kaspersky Antivirus (Endpoint security 10)
The internet connection speed is between 16.5 and 20 Mbps
I always used Wifi and I connect on http://www.flirt4free.com
Finally after the error message shown on your site I installed FLV Player but it does not change.
Thank you for your help
Bests regards

Hi christmed23,
Okay first thing I suspect to be causing that problem for you is The Kaspersky Antivirus (Endpoint security 10). Have you tried disabling it temporarily while trying a VOD ?
You may need to temporarily disable the firewall in Kaspersky as a first test then if that fails try also temporarily disabling the virus checker too in Kaspersky and retest by trying to play a VOD again with both the firewall and virus checker temporarily disabled (Also if there is a malaware feature temporarily disable that too).
Kaspersky is pretty well known in the industry as a pain and stops users accessing sites or services correctly. So this is why it is my first feeling that Kaspersky is causing this problem for you, it is overly sensitive and thinks even safe sites are not safe or some part of a site will not work correctly because of this over sensitivity.
As you will see here too :-
http://www.pcworld.com/article/2027173/bad-kaspersky-antivirus-update-keeps-users-from-accessi ng-websites.html
I would personally use Microsoft security essentials, it's free and use the windows firewall that is built in to windows 7.
If you don't have a license for Kaspersky also try uninstalling it completely as a test because sometimes parts of these security suites still stay active even when you disable parts. If you have a license for Kaspersky make sure you have your license key written down somewhere so if you want to reinstall it and reactivate it on the license again.
If you find Kaspersky is the cause and you are unhappy with it install Microsoft security essentials and activate the windows firewall. That will be good enough security for your computer, it's what I use and I got tired of these bloated security suites that seem to cause more problems and false positives when trying to use your computer.
Give that a test mate and see how you get on, if you still have problems and it's not Kaspersky related we can move on to check something else, but i'm almost a 100% sure it's Kaspersky doing it for you.
Also a quick note you don't need to download any FLV players for the VODS to play all you need is flash player installed on the browsers. So remove that FLV player you downloaded you don't need it.

I am sorry to report that even after completely disabled Kaspersky, the problem remains the same for the two browsers. I actually Kaspersky for several months and the video viewing F4F worked.
Maybe, I thought it was a coincidence after seeing the technical forum of your site the following link:
Forums News & Announcements

I do not know what else to do.

Hi christmed23,
Can you try out these two videos for me below (you won't be charged to test them) :-
1- http://www.flirt4free.com/vod/shows/8110319/ (Click the play button for the free preview) (VS PPM Player v1.1.72)
2- http://www.flirt4free.com/vod/girls/free/1027803/ (Click play button it's just a free video you can play) (JW Player 5.10.2295)
Let me know if one of them works or if both work or fail, they both use different players. Please try on Firefox and Internet Explorer and note any errors you may get.

Hi Nabil,
I tried the 2 links and this is the result :
The first one doesn't work on two browsers (always same message about FLV PLayer)
The second one is OK on Firefox Mozilla ; but on Internet Explorer there is the following error message :
Video not found: http://vsmedia.cdnetworks.net/tube/2012/01/19/16181691-0.efid4.mp4?px-hash=33c34e40e8a9dada71b08b91f 50e19c7&px-time=5409fa6c
Other information for you : i tried to connect with another provider and it seems there is a problem sinc the firewall. Effectively my actual connection is a collective one ; certainly the firewall don't accept the reading of videos from F4F anymore. But it is OK threw an individual internetbox.
You soon and best regards
Christophe.

Yes the 2nd one seems to not be working at moment and seeing same error as you (but it does work sometimes, so just retry it a few times)... Try this one too, it's same as number 2 above player :-
http://www.flirt4free.com/vod/girls/free/1035057/
Also the Error message you see on the 1st video is Connection Error, the FLV player was not able to connect to the requested movie source ? .. Did you try refreshing the page and trying again after that error message as a test ?
Also I'm a little confused why you mention your firewall, I thought you tested with it off last time, have you made sure when you test the above videos that you have turned off your firewall and virus checker just to also rule them out again. Quote
Thanks again for your help. Finally, the problem was generated by the firewall of the collective access with their own firewall (and not mine on my computer).
Now, all is OK.
Many thanks for all your indications and best regards to you.
