Forgottenclone, I received one of my 5 missing VODs today. VS_Nubia's post did say 72 hours, and that was only 2 days ago. Having received one back, I am hopeful that the others will show up over the course of the next day.
If nothing more comes back by the ending of April 1, then I will try e-mailing her directly again. But please give them a bit more time. They have been making progress--they fixed the problem with the misdirected links back to those 2011 wrong-model VODs, so I have faith that they will get this issue resolved as well. Quote

Please, be patient with VS. I am sure they are doing everything they can. So far 2 of my 5 VODs have been recovered. Both were done on 18 March, so perhaps VS is recovering them in date and time order.

I dunno Zyx, I'm feeling TicklishSoldier's frustration right now. As of today, I've haven't seen nor heard of any progress made other than your two shows. My show is still missing. The one response I've gotten to my emails was more or less copied and pasted directly from VS-nubia's post. It feels even more now like VS just doesn't care about retaining my business.
I was a grey-user for only about a minute before signing up as a VIP. I chose this site specifically for the VIP discounts and the ability to have my own library of shows. Both areas seem to be suffering badly now and have caused me to become extremely selective how I spend my money on here. None of the multitude of supposidly spectacular "upgrades" VS has done this past year have enhanced my experience, only taken away from it.
My dealings thus far with customer service have been miserable. This is the second time this has happened to me with a show that I spent thousands of credits on (the outcome of the first wasn't resolved in an exemplary manner either). Same as before, right off the bat, I was extrememly misled and misinformed when calling customer service-(Ohhh Nooo, everything is fine, we'll have your show restored within 24 hours).
It's obvious now that this recent technical difficulty involving a NY server was an ongoing problem for at least a full month. I've never seen a company whose IT dept allowed an issue to escalate so long and with so little communication to even it's most loyal customers.
To just say I'm "disappointed" is a huge understatement.

Well, after hearing about the issues you've had to deal with, I can understand your frustration and your disappointment, especially since you've had less than exemplary dealings with customer service. If I had gone through everything you have had to deal with, I would most probably feel exactly the way you do.
All I can say is that, thus far, they have been mostly responsive to my requests for assistance, and I truly hope that the issue with your shows gets resolved favorably and quickly. Quote

Can I ask if this issue has been resolved?
The recording for a private show I did earlier today is still missing.
Hello Gents,
We apologize for the delay, rest assure that our techs inform us that these video recordings are not indeed lost, but are just taking some time to import into the Flirt system. As we make efforts to facilitate the archiving process by installing new hardware, we face small delays in getting everything back into the flow of things.
We appreciate your patience,
Nubia

maybe is up to models discretion to public or confirm her show?
i know a model (cant say name in public) she did show in shower and never showed up in public or in customers archive ...
Quote
maybe models still have the last word in which shows they confirm and archive or public to all ?
i do not understand why models STILL have to confirm their shows in order to be public...
almost all of the top 20 model HAVE NOT in public their shows ....
wondering .......
wtf reason to buy vods from other minor models ? Quote

Models in the top 3% of all models active have the right to hide their VODS fully.
All models have the right to hide 20% of their videos and have the right to only make them available to the customer that took them private. Also some models have requested not to have their VODS available at all.
That's always how the VOD system worked and is the fair way to treat performers and allow them control over their content they create on the site.
If you want a VOD of a model, simple cure is take that model private and then you will have access to it in your recorded shows for future viewing.
If you click this link :-
http://www.flirt4free.com/vod/browse.php?a=my_clips&sub_section=shows
You will see any shows you have available to you that you took private or you can click your account page and select my content and under that recorded shows.

if this is the way it works then i might stop private favorite models till some of their vods are available. I dont think this is a nice way to work. Maybe for all models a 20% minimum should be available at all times
That 3% of models have the right to full hide their vods is not correct (in my opinion ofcourse) because vods of these models people want to watch ... Quote

rimark -
if the model is in the top 3% the videos are available only to the original customer (the person that took the private).
If the model falls out of the top 3% all the videos become active to all to view if they are not marked private by the original customer or the performer, if they are marked private it means the original customer can only see them then. Basically you should have access to their VOD section again and can watch other VODS by other customers if they are not marked private by either the performer or original customer that took the private. In short VODS will be available again to all to access again.
So if you take a performer private even if they are in the top 3% you will still be able to access your shows you took with that performer no matter what % they are in by going to your account section "recorded shows".

If they have dropped from this invisible 3% level, and the shows where labeled as "unshareable". How is the original customer to know it can be bolcked? Are we supposed to watch every 3 seconds in case the VOD becomes publicably avaible after dropping from this mysterious 3% status?
Where was the original customer's ability to block it?
There is no way of knowing if your shows are shareable prior to private.
There is no way of making an unshareable VOD blocked from open availability.
