We're still working to improve the situation on the broadcast end. You're losing connection because the model lost connection first which interrupts her stream. This is something that has always happened but occurs much more often lately.
While it's probably not relevant to the comment I'm quoting we've made a pretty big improvement on the problem connecting to chat where you'd be relocated to another room (which might also fail). We continue to take all problems seriously and thank you for your patience.

We've made progress on both of these fronts despite shooting ourselves in the foot a couple of times as early as this morning.
Connecting to chat rooms should be much more reliable now. There was a network event that occurred this morning that might cause some of you to disagree but, on the whole, our data indicates a sizable improvement over the last couple of weeks.
Streaming live video has improved in a couple of different ways. I mentioned a couple of posts back that we had identified a flaw in our broadcasting software and we've finally had an opportunity to release this update to performers. Even with only ~40% of performers using the new broadcaster we're seeing much more reliable/smoother playback. We also identified an issue not related specifically to the broadcast software that was fixed this morning.
I appreciate everyone's patience and candor. We will continue to search for more fixable problems. By no means do I believe we're done here. Quote

I agree. I like to choose who I visit and if you can't get me to that room then I would prefer f4f redirect me to the homepage. Its embarrassing when you tell a girl you will never see her here again (and you also block her from email) next thing you know, your in her room.

I couldn't agree more, it's not only annoying to be bounced to a random model's room but kinda rude to to the model when you leave as soon as you show up, because you had no intention of visiting in the first place.

I'm aware of an issue with some video playback that was going on yesterday and may have trickled over until earlier today. There were a variety of things going wrong with networking last week but I'm told we're in the clear currently.

I have seen it a lot from the Russian studios. When you click to start the pvt show, the screen transitions to the "pvt view" and the video stream shows the "loading" messages (cycling between "Loading" and "Contacting Server". Sometimes it resolves and the video appears after about 15-20 seconds. Other times Refresh Video click is needed, and even that takes some time.
Once in a while there's a complete disconnect but that's only happened twice by my count. Quote
