Technical Support: Does VS do any work on old problems(Audio Lag)
about 7 months ago, I listed a problem with the vod playback. It seems on every VOD that is played back that the audio is lagging behind. I have noticed that it is getting worse. I would think that this a major issue for the site. Unchecked it may produce a meltdown, I would hate to loose my favorite site.

Hello, and thank you for your follow-up. We had done an initial investigation on this issue and were not able to find any files that exhibited this issue.
Could you provide me with a couple of links where this occurs for you and also provide me with the following information:
1) Operating System
2) Browser
3) CPU & Memory - If you don't know how to find this information I will follow-up with you after I find out which Operating System you are using with instructions on how to find this information... Quote

Audio lag on video playback has occured to me often. Sometimes by a seemingly full 1/4 second, which is quite noticeable. And lately in open chat I see text before the video.

Audio lag on video playback has occured to me often. Sometimes by a seemingly full 1/4 second, which is quite noticeable. And lately in open chat I see text before the video.
In open/group/pvt the audio/video stream is always delayed a little (2-5 secs) unlike the text which is realtime. This helps keep it from being laggy or buffering in the middle of the show. I've been in situations where due to settings on the model's PC the audio/video stream got 5-15 mins behind))

Finally, My CPU is a Leveno not sure about the processor.
