Technical Support: Giving Credits in private chat

I have attempted numerous times to enter 10 or 15 credits to be awarded to the model while in private but each time Flirt says must be 50 or more. Anyone else having this problem?

I have never had this problem because I have never wanted to tip 10 or 15 in a private show. In a 1-to-1 situation these small tips could appear a little bit insulting, and best avoided. Also, I think that in-show tips reduce the time left in the private show, so the performer may be gaining nothing.

These small tip options were actually removed from the site last year, but restored after members complained. It was good to see VS responding to the wishes of members.
10 and 15 tips are mainly of value in party chats, where lots of small tips can soon add up to a worthwhile tip for the performer

If you want to spend the 10 to 15 credits as a tip , I suggest send a "Virtual Gift" with a personalized message to the model .
There are many different gifts that show your personality to chose and/or fit the occasion well for the model .
50 credits is the lowest tip to send in private .

I appreciate your point of view; however I don't agree with you!! I have never had a model tell me or show he was insulted by my tips. I think most models appreicate "ALL" tips as they add up and can be a motivator. I believe a tip is just that!! In groups you can tip 10 or more which I frequently do. My point was I don't like F4F governing for me the min amount I can tip, if I choose to

I appreciate your point of view; however I don't agree with you!! I have never had a model tell me or show he was insulted by my tips. Please pardon my intrusion, but ronnie-uk is correct about the tips (in private) reducing the amount of time available for the show. I usually allot a set amount of credits for a specific length of time (eg., 250 for a 50 cpm 5-minute chat), and have only that available in my wallet. Tipping takes directly out of the wallet, so if I were to tip the minimum 50-credits, the private would end 1 minute earlier. The model still receives the credits, the same as if it were a complete 5-minute chat without the tip.
Group is different from private chat, however. Think of the initial pledge as the price of admission to a movie. You have to pay it to get in. After that, whatever you spend on refreshments (to continue the example) is your choice. A private show, on the other hand, is like going into a restaurant. You can spend what you want any way you want, but only as much as you have in your wallet. You might plan on buying the steak dinner for $20, but if you also buy a $10 dollar glass of wine, you'll have to settle for a hamburger instead. You go in for a 15-minute show, but after all your tips, you come out in under 10 minutes instead.
If you really want to tip the performer, I would suggest giving a larger tip or gift after the show as a show of gratitude. The performer gets the price of the private as well as your tip, you enjoy the full length and value of your show and satisfy yourself with tipping, and you're both happy.

what you are arguing is a defense of a "concept" that you have regarding rewarding a performer, as have several others in this thread. you have failed to observe that you can ALWAYS purchase additional credits or "time" as you conceive of it, during a private show, group chat, or the free-for-all of a party chat. that you yourself 'budget' what it is that you will expend and refuse to exceed that limit may or may not be considered 'admirable'.

The models (all guys) I see regularly know that I am not someone who is out the door 20 seconds after the last drop hits. I'll stay at least 3-4 minutes, sometimes much more, to relax and chat. (And sometimes the pvts are just relax and chat). To me that's a better way to express appreciation, build relationships, and hopefully make the model's day feel a little less like an assembly line while still providing the same financial help that a tip would. Relaxing with a model in that environment is generally a very pleasant experience as well.
