I have loved Group Chats for the last 2 years, and I am very disappointed that you have made a change which spoils the experience.
I realise that you have to cater for lots of different devices, screen sizes, operating systems and browsers - and the problem may only occur with particular set-ups.
Wonderboi mentioned in another topic that this was briefly a problem before, and you fixed it. I hope you can do the same again. Quote
I have just been able to enjoy a group chat show in wich I was able to enlarge the screen via the 7 point slider apparatus.
Hopefully it will work for you as well. Best of luck. Quote

For me the 7 point slider works partially. I can increase the video size from start up size (1/10th) to 1/2 size. When I drag it further, the video size jumps back to 1/10th size. That is irritating.
I am using Windows XP and IE8. I have just tried with Firefox and get the same result.
It may just occur on some 4:3 screens, rather than 16:9 screens.
This was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago. The same problem occurred some time ago and VS quickly fixed it. I am hopeful they can do the same now Quote

Thx wonderboi. Useful to know.
I wasn't aware of any minor nuisance regarding buttons and CPM information connected with the chat window size.
I have been doing a lot of group chats. It was working perfectly well on a 4:3 screen up to 2 weeks ago. I'm sure it can be fixed again

Hey guys. This is the Technical Support forum, and the topic is Group Chat: Video Size.
All posts about the change in the video size in group chat are very welcome.
No need for lots of off-topic posts here, which add nothing useful to the topic (or the forum)
Thanks Quote

Yes, I agree that something has changed in the size of the view when in group chat.

my screen size shows no change or difficulties as you are complaining of ronnie-uk ... i am using a MacMini with 16 gig of internal Ram and an HDMI interface to a 27 inch flat screen display @ 2560x2048 running under OS X version 10.7.5; you might consider upgrading both your equipment and operating software to avoid issues with improvements in application software and sites which are finding maintaining equivalence for ancient architectures wearisome.

I have kept the on-topic part of your last post (above).
Upgrading my setup seems a bit extreme, when Group Chat (and pretty well everything else on the site) was working perfectly just over 2 weeks ago.
I also have some big computer programs which don't work with Windows 7 (64 bit). It suits me to stay with Windows XP for as long as I can.
We can always discuss more general points in the General Discussions forum Quote
