Technical Support: Changed Name Reverts To Default Name
When entering a made up chat name, it will work in the present room I am in, but will revert automatically to default when changing into another room. This did not happen before.
When fixing this bug, may I suggest that we be able to change the name prior to entering a chat room. Quote

yeah. it keeps changing to default name for me as well.

I have noticed the same thing when logging on March 21st during the evening. By choosing another nickname works just fine when initially entering a room. Once you change to another room, the default name is displayed. This problem should be addressed and fixed immediately.

I notice this happening when you have utilised the maximum number of chat names allowed for your account, which is 10 I think. Otherwise, this problem does not occur. I don't think there is a fix for it. Anyone has been in touch with support for this?
