this has been asked a lot, please, search the forum for a topic first before you post. This is also addressed in the FAQ section of F4F ... and for sure a performer would be able to tell you, too.
You simply put a slash before your message:
This is an open message, that everyone can see
/this is a whispered message that only you and the performer can see
