I am curious what is the ideal size for the avatar picture, that is its width and height in pixel?
Would be great to know to not get a stretched/resized or cut off picture in the end.
Also, is this restricted to 300kb as attachments in the message system are? (Or: what would the ideal resolution be?)

? HA! Sorry about that, slipped through the cracks.
I looked it up and we display the avatar images as a square (mostly 100x100). If the image is larger than 200 pixels wide we resize it to 200 wide and keep the aspect ratio the same.
Long way of saying, if you upload a square image it won't contort.
