The most important thing to have in mind is that boosts only work together with credits as they enhance a model's power score relative to credits earned recently.
So NEVER boost a performer who was away for several days. Best practice in my opinion is to take someone prvt (or party hard or have a good group show) and boost the earned points afterwards, if you want to support that performer further .
On earning boost points:

On spending boosts:

Models DON'T get credits/tips/money from boosts, but it adds to their power score (used for ranking the performers) and increases their visibility on the page and therewith chances to attract more visitors to their rooms.
Typically, only models with an internal ranking above 50% (That is Top 1% to Top 50% of all active performers) can have parties, group shows etc. If they are succesful in their work here (credits earned overall), there are different model levels. Higher levels come with benefits and at some point they can have parties independent of their current ranking.
Models have a detailed handbook ... but many performers "just try it out" without reading the information they have. Quote
I remember breaking my head trying to figure out about boosts & points during my first few months here although I read the FAQs over & over lol Quote

I'm sorry it was so frustrating for you. We haven't done a great job explaining the point system or providing easy ways to do things with points but that's slowly changing. We've been working on a big project internally to re-brand the point system, explain it more and also create some really cool ways to use points. Not ready to announce the launch date yet but stay tuned, this will be a mid-Summer thing and I think you will like it.

For me, too, those are things I learned from performers over time.
I have been thinking for a while about starting a thread collecting ideas and wishes from members to enhance the FAQ, because I find myself looking for simple things there and don't find them explained.
This is, I think, reflected in the same questions being asked over and over again in this forum. Quote
