Those discounts are a regular occurrence now. They were available before the Routine Maintenance event. Quote

they definately need to do something for the models, especially when it took them 3 hours before they even posted on twitter about the issue. its not fair on them to be stuck waiting to work not knowing whats going on. i know issues happen but this was pretty poorly handled and i really do think the models deserve more.

Here's a scenario.
Site Management says, " attention performers we will pay each of you $XX/hour for all the hours you were going to be online the day of the Routine Maintenance. ( nice phrase) So who was going to work that day and how many hours?"
All the site's performers will say, "Oh yeah I was going to work 24 hours on Routine Maintenance Day." Then Site Management says, "okay everyone gets paid the full 24 hours because they told us they were going to be online that time."
It's not practical and that is reality. I'm not saying all performers would do this but if someone is offering free money a lot of people are going to step up to have a share in that. Quote
