Technical Support: Dating Pop-up windows
For the last few days, I have had dating pop-up windows opening (not requested by me) while using F4F. This has not happened before. Is there something going on here that F4F users should be aware of? Has F4F signed up to dating ads? Ian

This is something new that F4F is advertising. The ads won't remove you from the site at all, and should only appear once every 24 hours. If it becomes an inconvenience, please don't hesitate to contact customer service. We are available 24/7.

I was about to contact CS about this. I hate popups and take steps to avoid them. I want to go to another site I’ll go there myself.

The ads do open another window or tab & happen repeatedly. 2-5 times in a row & more often than once every 24 hours.

I have noticed the same and it does not occur until you log in to the f4f site. I am not sure of the content of these pages and some are a little more hardcore than I like. My spyware flags it and disables it most of the time. While it may be harmless, it feels strange to have it there and sometimes forget about. I just hope everything is fair and honest.

One of the sites that opens up in the background for me is a gay porn site that I would believe some of the boys on there are of questionably young in age. Makes me a little uncomfortable.

I think this could affect the f4f business and client memberships. I do not ever plan on abandoning f4f, I love it here, but I believe some might.

These pop-ups are still a problem (numerous popups in 1 24 hr period), and it will put people off from using F4F if this continues. This is not what people expect with a quality site like F4F

I hate them too. As suggested here: https://www.flirt4free.com/forums/threads.php?forum_id=9&thread_id=3603&num_posts=2&last_post=1 I have sent screenshots of several to customer service. I hope others are doing the same.

Using a reputable ad blocker browser extension will probably do the job just fine at preventing those popups to show up.
So too will switching to a more reputable cam site. This is getting a little tiring...
