Technical Support: c2c audio lag
Hi twice when In a c2c the video was receptive and up to speed however, the audio lagged by about 5-10 seconds making the entire show awkward as neither myself or the model knew when to speak without overlapping. Furthermore, recently the model was unable to hear me as the sound was very muffled and she had her volume high and I know my mic works as I have used it on skype recently. Would appreciate any advice, thanks.

I've never had a c2c experience without an audio delay. If you and the performer use earphones, it fixes the delay, but the action and audio aren't synced and the audio conversation isn't recorded. My experience, like I said.

I've very very rarely had any Flirt experience (party/private/c2c) that didn't have a delay. It's just something I've accepted and gotten used to. It's quite annoying to talk in C2C, but someone in the forums has mentioned doing a Flirt phone/private rate deal with the model so that they could at least have live sound while in private.

Talking, and seeing someone webcam-to-webcam on this website is similar to being on Skype. Some webcam models have had, and do have problems, and issues, with volume/sound/audio on, while they are in privates like it echoing. They have a choice whether to have it on, or off. I'm sure, and would think that quite a few of us have had problems in privates. As long as they have been fixed, and corrected, then there shouldn't be anything else.

I have NEVER had a good C2C experience. The audio and sometimes even the video, lags so severely that it is totally and utterly worthless. I've heard other say the issue is the same with services such as Skype. Not in my experience. I video skype with friends and relative all the time with no lag problems EVER. Video quality might suffer sometimes, but there is no noticeable lag on Skype for me. There has ALWAYS been such severe lag on Flirt's C2C for me that I simply cannot use it, as much as I would love to use it.

I recommend checking if you are connecting to an Amazon EC2 service. EC2 is used for experimenting and more.
