I have encountered two problems with audio recently during a Cam2Cam session. The first is a long delay from when I speak to when the model actually hears it. The second is what sounds like a feedback loop that begins about 30 seconds after the session begins.
I am using the browser Firefox on an iMac with the latest Mojave OS.
The video is working and the permissions between F4F and Firefox are in place.
This is my first attempt at C2C. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I have never had a good c2c experience here. There's always an audio delay of several seconds. So frustrating that I don't do them anymore.

I was able to get rid of the feedback. It turns out my microphone level was set too high.
We are still experiencing a two to three second delay however.

Hey Zepellin1994! Thank you for posting on the forums. We have two different playback options, hls and nano. It sounds like you were playing back using the hls as there is a delay up to 8 seconds. Please try switching to the nano to see if that works better for you.

OK. Can you tell me HOW to do that? I apologize for my ignorance, butt when it comes to tech, may I ask you treat me like I'm 5 with a step-by-step on how to switch to nano.

Absolutely! When you are in a models room, on the bottom left of the model's screen you will see some options such as, screen size, volume, and the player options. Here is a link to show you the screenshots.

The left screen shot is non beta, and the right is beta. I hope this helps! Quote

We apologize for the inconvenience. Are you receiving an error message by any chance? If so, we had just made an update to fix this. Please give it another try and let us know if you continue to experience this issue.
Thanks!

You may have noticed that the Beta 2.5 version adds Flash Player as an option. It was suggested to me to try Flash Player but it did not resolve the delay in both Firefox or Google Chrome. In fact it seemed longer. Also, there are security problems with Flash not being updated often enough and phishing sites disguised as Adobe updates. Finally, Google Chrome will not be supporting Flash past December 2020. The number of websites requiring Flash are definitely growing smaller.
So up to this point I have tried everything F4F has suggested with no improvement on a two second delay. What I don't understand about this topic is why the models are not out of sync on our end.
