Thank you for posting in our forums. I have taken your suggestion and sent it over for review. If you have any other questions please let us know. - K.K. Quote
If you open your C2C window prior to starting your show, you can begin the testing process prior to your billing. Once you know that your equipment is working as expected, you can start your private and then "Go Live" with your camera. We also suggest using Nano at 270p for viewing the model's stream before you begin your private show, to improve the experience.

Hi, yes, I remember it is possible to toggle the "go live" prior to sending out the offer or starting the show. however, the steps here are a bit disjointed - after the show starts you still need to go back to that tiny camera pop up window and click "Start
your cam", not forgetting that it takes a certain amount of tine before the performer gets your feed (depending on their internet I guess). Previously, a few months, if I recall correctly, the steps were even worse, you had to go back to the main chat window to publish your cam or something like that.
But anyway, I guess the perfect solution would be to have just a button (like what was suggested in previous comments) or 1 single toggle to indicate that you as a paying customer wants to start your own cam as well, and that when starting a show (either you manually start or an offer is accepted) the servers will make sure the cam feed is connected from both sides are connected to the other before any counting starts (or, if that's not possible, can't there just be a few seconds, like maybe 15 seconds of "initial loading time" where by your credits are not utilised yet, assuming that you may need to do some setup or that the servers needs some time to connect the performer with the customer?). We appreciate your desire for simplification and assure you that we want it too. However, customers are not charged for Cam2Cam; It is the model's show that is being purchased. Cam2Cam status does not control the show status since you can decide to conduct half of a (private) show with Cam2Cam and the other half without. Consequently, the Cam2Cam function and show billing are designed without any correlation because it creates a uniformed process that accommodates various scenarios.

Hi, understand everything you said and I agree, in principle. However, the main issue here is not that customers are charged for C2C, we understand that we are charged for the model's show, and that we choose to turn on our cam as well. The main issue here is the time taken for steps required to get the C2C working. Ignoring the issues during shows (like the feed lag/delay, the trial & error to avoid feedback/echo, the random error causing connection refusal), I just think that the tiny webcam pop up screen can be so much better for customers to test out before starting the show:
- Using the toggle directly as the trigger to start the cam/audio only, instead of the toggle + another button
- I believe models will have to click something like "accept" to view customer's cam after the above point, and I believe the customer audio is yet another button for them to click. In private, I don't know why they still need to do this since customer initiated. If they don't want to view, then they can just choose to stop viewing (I believe this option is available to the models).
- Toggle to show/hide the control buttons at the bottom of the mini window (the power button and the question mark, and just the whole shading between them). Sometimes I can't see where my cam ends towards the bottom of the screen because it's being hidden by those. If not toggle, at least don't superimpose it over the cam feed, even though it is slightly transparent (buttons are not).
- Adjusting the size of customer's own cam in the mini window. Just cause the customer is not a model doesn't mean that they will just sit in 1 spot and stare at the screen of the model's cam. When moving about, it's hard to see what is on the screen of my cam, since the floating window is so tiny. If there is an option to just resize this window, I think this problem will be solved.
C2C status does not control the show status, but that has nothing to do with simplifying the process? You can still simplify it, and C2C status will still not control the show status.
In your example of having half a show with C2C and another half without, yes, but in the same vein, a customer can never have a 100% C2C session, because there will always be time needed just to get it connected. Quote
I used to try cam 2 cam a lot in my shows and I usually use a cell phone and barely had trouble with it. Now it gets so complicated that I try to activate my cam when the show is finishing so I don’t waste time and lose those credits.
But yeah cam 2 cam needs to be worked on cause last times I tried using it model doesn’t hear me, freezes or simple doesn’t work at all Quote
Same experience for me. Mildly frustrating on open but as noted, wasteful few minutes restarting / resetting camera at beginning of private. As noted, randomly occurs with Edge, Chrome, Safari. Good luck!
