Technical Support: Missing some VODs
I have not fully nailed this down yet but I am missing some VOD's from private shows that I have had with some models.
I have been reluctant to fully test the situation out because I don't want to lose access to any future recordings.
So far, from what I can tell, the VOD will not show up in my recored context/ my shows page if for example:
Lets say my accounts main name is HotTopMan and that is the screen name I'm logged in under.
If I take a model private but when I launch the private show I log in under one of my registered screen names, Lets say "BestBottomBoy" then the recorded show will not be made available to me..
I may have this backwards or is some slightly different combination of the above but I do believe this is the issue in the end.

umm, this might not be it after all. I sent customer support a message with a specific VOD that is missing and as I look at it, there are other strange things going on with that and others like it. Mainly, I know I took the model pvt, I have the system email from after the pvt ended..but when I look at the models VOS, he has ZERO vods. Not even the one that I know I made with him.

You should have access regardless of which screen name you used (assuming that it's all under the same account). Just remember that it can take a little bit for the recording to show up. If you need us to investigate further please reply to this thread or email support.

You should have access regardless of which screen name you used (assuming that it's all under the same account). Just remember that it can take a little bit for the recording to show up. If you need us to investigate further please reply to this thread or email support.

I know that sometimes performers delete shows or make them not view-able. There was a time earlier in the year where the original customer was given access to the shows the models turned off. Since that time, the same thing has been occurring to new shows. Any plans to do the same thing again where we will eventually get access to all the shows?

This happens on the girls side of the site too. VODs just never show up. I have given up even bothering to look for them. I always figure the model thinks she did a lousy job and doesnt want people to see the VOD.

I finally figured this one out....
I visited a veteran model's room and noticed that he did not have ANY VODs available at all. None. He has been here for 3 years and not a single VOD.
It's not like they were blocked, there was zero of them. Even blocked ones show up but are not viewable.
I realized that this model ONLY makes the MULTIUSER private option available. Not private/multi. I guess Multiuser privates are not made available to the member who paid for the show. IT seems that MULTIUSER shows are not made available as VODS at all.
I guess this is a loophole that some models use to keep any recorded shows from showing up.
The VODs that are missing for me were multi-user. This kind of ticks me off because most times I'm the only person in the private and paid for the whole thing myself. I understand that making the recorded VOD available to many users who were in the show might be difficult due to variations in time spent by each member but maybe if the member was there for more than 50% of the total show then the maybe whole VOD could be made available?
Please think about this as from now on, I myself will only take models private that offer 60/40 or will change modes from MULTI-user only to some other mode.

I have lots of videos from multi-user shows in My Shows (where I was generally the only user, but sometimes where there were other users). At one time I thought they were being split at the points other users entered/left the show, but now I'm not sure.
A model who has no videos on their bio page or video page probably has sharing disabled in whatever way some of the russian studios disable it. For those models you don't see any videos on their bio page and they don't show up in the Videos Model list--even if you have videos with them from your own shows (as VIP) that are in your My Shows list. Mopasan, Corban X are examples where the studio has set it.

...I have done a lot of Multi-User shows, the VODs are almost always made available.
I was going to make the same comment, Phil, but TorinGray was making the distinction between models who offer private/multi (at 60/40) and those who offer multi-user only. I haven't paid any attention to this before.
You will see that I asked him a week ago for the name of the model who he thinks has been offering multi-user only for the last 3 years. If we have a name we could probably be more helpful.

his shows are always multi-user
There are others.. just off the top of my head I can't think of them but as I run across them..

Jeffry's studio is one of the big Russian studios that blocks sharing of all videos. If you take him or anyone from his studio private/multiuser you should still get the videos in My Shows if you are VIP. But they won't show up in Daily VOD or on the bio or Videos pages.
