Just starting tonight I'm having trouble getting any of the daily VODs (including ones I watched yesterday) to play in chrome. Nothing happens when you click on the triangle play icon either in the center of the video window or along the bottom. Works fine in Firefox. These are the only ones I can find that use the new player, so maybe it's something with it. Chrome 26.0.1410.23 m with flash 11.6.602.180 NPAPI version enabled, and 1l.6.602.180 PPAPI version is disabled. The PPAPI version was disabled because it previously caused problems with the emoticons displaying incorrectly, but I don't remember the version numbers being the same. Enabling the PPAPI version causes the video player to work properly but breaks the emoticon positioning again. Disabling it fixes emoticon positioning. So I'm guessing that there was a chrome/flash upgrade that broke this. Quote

Can you hover over the lower-right region of the video and see if you can click to play? This does currently prevent the use of the scrub-bar, but at least you will be able to watch the video while we investigate further.

Yes, I see what you mean. There is a section of the lower right part of the video image that does respond with PPAPI disabled. Thanks for the info on the workaround. Quote

I updated my flash player and that seems to fix it.

emoticons in chat still don't work right for me in 11.7.700.179. However disabling it which leaves the old NPAPI of 11,6,602,180 works OK and the new video player is working now. VS must have added a fix for this since this is is the same version that was failing before.
