Is there a problem again with VOD's taking an excessive amount of time to show up? the last three shows i have done this week have not shown up yet? How long should i wait before i send a message to support? Thank you, DM

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us concerning your VOD issue. Not all shows are recorded, sometimes errors happen during recording or moving the files around therefore making the video clips un-viewable.

Even though the failure rate is pretty low, it does happen and such videos cannot be repaired or recovered. Please see the link below.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding a VOD recording that has not shown up after 48 hours since the ending of the show, please contact us during normal business hours Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm PST and ask to look into a VOD recording issue with our VOD department to check to see if the content can be recovered.

I wanted to note here that there was some trouble over the weekend with importing videos which created a rather large back log of files to process. The process has been kickstarted and qualifying videos should show up over the next couple of days.

In the last week, it's more than 2/3 of my admissible shows that were not entirely recorded or not recorded at all.
This is not what I call a "pretty low" failure rate.

We are currently having server issues and are in the midst of resolving the problem. There is a backlog of videos that have not been processed yet. While I cannot promise that ALL will be recovered, we recently made adjustments so that there would be a reduction in loss.
Please bear with us while we get this matter resolved. Your privates should start trickling into your Vault over the next day or so. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

The servers are encoding at full speed now but will still need to catch up on what was backlogged. However, to be honest, I do not think anything missing from dates prior to 11/28 is going to be recovered. I hate having to say this. I can only say that we did recently take extra precautions to avoid loss in the future.

While I respect your attempts to correct our myriad of problems, many of us are VIP members because it allows for the privilege of having our previous shows to play back. While the vast majority of my shows are up as normal, I have had a few that have never shown up or have been truncated from longer shows.

I will also say that combined with the daily video issues, old show playback issues, etc. that this site is getting pretty buggy.

I think is the first time I've run into an issue with this but I've had a handful of shows this entire week. All of them have uploaded normally (within minutes) to my account with the exception of one from the 26/27th(?).

Is there a way to verify if the show is "a lost cause" or should I just give it another day or two? Any help/clarification is appreciated!

Try sending the video through re-encoding by clicking on the Report Issue button at the bottom of the player. Choose Not Playing. If after 24 hours, the video still isn’t playing, then it was probably was one of the ones affected and is most likely lost. Write a message in the comment section and I’ll double check it when we get back after New Year.

I've come to terms of accepting its just a lost show :(

A little disappointing as it was a (hot) first time show with a someone new for me but it happens. Thank you so much for the reply/assistance anyway.Here's hoping future shows don't fall into the same fate :thumbsup

Kurtis has already informed me that two of the shows were corrupted, was just waiting for confirmation of the other which is so far five days overdue.

I have to say thank you for all your hard work on other problems, I know how frustrating trying to trace a non repeatable problem is.

My team just informed me that there was a delay in the import process over the weekend. They are backlogged but should come through. Sorry for the delay.
